Steam Roller is the first new brew to emerge from the country’s oldest new brewery; a burnished copper coloured pint which rolls over the taste buds leaving a smooth finish of toffee and caramel. As the flavours fade away, a hint of smokey notes lingers. Not far from The Albion Brewery stood the steam roller and traction engine works of William Allchin where these mighty beasts were made from 1847 to 1925.
